JOB DESCRIPTION
Main Duties and Responsibilities
To take responsibility for the development and delivery of learning, teaching materials, and assessment.
To ensure that students have an effective learning experience by providing high-quality academic guidance.
To undertake professional development in support of teaching and applied research, and, where appropriate, in support of student welfare and curriculum management.
Beside these, the candidate is required to:
Maintain academic discipline and monitor the performance of junior teachers.
Maintain students' academic records in the University management system.
Serve as a member of thesis defense panels and thesis supervision committees.
Prepare and modify course syllabi and course outlines.
Conduct research in different areas of Education and related fields and publish findings in recognized scholarly journals.
Perform academic administration and other activities as required, including examination proctoring, viva conducting, registration duties, etc.
Meet with and report academic and research activities to the Vice-Chancellor/President of the University/Top Management.
Assess students, including setting and marking assignments, class tests, term papers, projects, and other forms of academic assessment.
Contribute to curriculum development, academic quality enhancement, and departmental development.
Mentor and provide academic guidance to junior faculty members.
Undertake any other duties as determined by the University Management and the Vice Chancellor.
AND such other duties as are within the scope of the spirit of the job purpose, the title of the post, and its grading.
Supervision Given: Lecturers, Teaching Assistants, Instructors, Research Associates, and other academic staff as appropriate.
Salary Range: BDT. 43,960/- to 62,721/- per month
(Salary may vary depending on qualifications, preferably PhD degree, teaching experience, number of publications, research profile, and contribution to the University.)

publications and three (3) years of teaching
experience. Candidates with a PhD degree may be considered for this stage with two (2) years of teaching experience and two (2) publications in recognized journals. |

| Other Requirements | Willing to undertake academic activities in the evening when necessary. | Willingness to travel abroad to undertake academic and related activities. Competence in more than one language. |
